Tomorrow is coming

5 Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”

Tomorrow is a day that has not come. Tomorrow is a time that we have no idea what it holds. What about tomorrow? As children of God we should not put off things for tomorrow nor should we wait for tomorrow, but one important thing is we should not ignore tomorrow. If you are a person with dreams and goals, or If you want a brighter future you must prepare today for tomorrow.

In this text the leader Joshua is preparing the children of Israel for their tomorrow. Their tomorrow would bring them to their promised land! They were preparing to cross the Jordan River. Joshua directs the people to consecrate themselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you. Our preparation is key to the promises of God.

Today we must begin to prepare for what God has in place for us. For some of you it may be starting to save more money for college or a house. For some of you it may mean to start writing for the new book. For others it may mean you need to complete a certification. Do whatever you need in your life like your tomorrow depends on it.

Pray this Prayer

Father I thank you for this day. Teach me the ways of preparation and consecration. Give me wisdom today to prepare for tomorrow. I honor you today I thank you for today. I pray for wisdom in all areas.
